There's also CAL (http://www.caleague.com/) which has the most organized gameplay for CSS that I've seen yet (I haven't visited a TG server yet though.) I guaruantee you, if you try to play like most people play on a pub, you'll die, real, real, quick.

Of course, CAL requires some work, you need to find a team, and be willing to play in the matches and practices, although typically, depending on your skill level, it takes no more than 1-2 hours a week. Voice chat's also pretty much required.
