In other news, my brother sold his XBox 360 and his two games for it for $350AUD. He was that desperate to get rid of it.

Told him he had wasted his money getting one ...

He'll probably come home with a Wii, knowing him. And buy no games for that either. Another dust collector ...

Huh? He sold his 360 for WAY under market to buy a Wii? That's MADNESS.

Shit man, *I* would have bought it for that price, and I have little interest in 360s. :)

I've had similar comments from various relatives who've played the Wii. It has even won over my mum, who detests video games.

Yeah, I have my family badgering me to play bloody Sports. My expectation that the controller would even the playing-field gamewise has come true: I can rule anyone with a controller, but on the Sports games I do pretty poorly at everything except Boxing.

I am deeply embarrassed to say this, but my mum absolutely smacks me (and anyone else that tries) down in boxing. I couldn't even get close to winning.

Hey, I can't even hit the fucking BALL in baseball. Why didn't we get cricket, eh? I have a grand total of one run ever in baseball, and about four hundred million fouls. :)

It took me quite a while to get any decent hits in baseball. I still can't really get any homeruns, but plenty of single and double runs.

The golf is awesome, and I think cricket would've been as well if they had it.

Weaklings, the lot of you! Says the man who's cranked out 7, 6, 5, and 3 run innings against the neighborhoods MOST VALUED PITCHERS this weekend. Can't pitch to save my life, but I've wired more than my fair share over the wall.

In short: I'm a natural. 8)

Wii Baseball is such a bitch crapshoot that it's not even funny.

I can totally own Uts in Bowling at times, however, and it's hilarious. :)

It isn't, though. It is if you're bad at baseball (which is the case most people), but my friend who's on the college team destroys everyone and smacks it out of the park every time.

Wii Baseball is all about timing and power. You don't have to aim the bat, just swing hard at the right time.

My roommate's PS3 broke not a week after he got it. It goes to standby, but never starts. It acts like it's going to and then nothing. PS3 has launch was bull and the system is not only very, very large, it also not worth the money at this point in time. I like my Wii and Zelda has managed to take my life away.

Dude, samething here. My family and GF's fam loved the Wii. My nephew managed to get the bowling motions down and he's not even four yet...
