As I said, no saving option. They had to mod in the ability to save. Meaning it doesn't exist in the game.FedRebel wrote:Nope, modders to the rescueAlyeska wrote:Is that an official patch from the makers of the game?

How the hell did they fail to implement a save option? Did you have to start the campaign all over again if you were silly enough to close the program? Or was it more of a no in-mission saves?Alyeska wrote:As I said, no saving option. They had to mod in the ability to save. Meaning it doesn't exist in the game.

It's been a LONG time since I played 25th Anniversay, but wasn't the Federation 'Tug' in one of the scenarios from the old tech manual?Uraniun235 wrote:Stark wrote:Uranium235 wrote: Interplay didn't just rip stuff out of SFB; as I recall, SFB actually used the old Franz Joseph designs out of the 1975 Star Fleet Technical Manual to flesh out the Federation fleet, whereas the Interplay-designed "destroyer" and "dreadnought" are much different animals.
Legacy isn't made by Interplay, so that's probably why we don't see a wholesale re-use of the Interplay-era ships, although I wish they had given how screwed-up their ripoff of the Interplay Fed battleship looks.
TNG:A Final Unity, while made by Microprose wasn't a bad game either.
