Until I saw this, I didn't think you could do the concave dish without any weaknesses. Of course, I didn't know what caused weaknesses. Stupid things like the garbage mashers counting as a weakness.

EDIT: http://www.deathstardesigner.com/station/20532
No weaknesses, concave dish, and it's got a ferris wheel & roller coaster.

Yeah, the way to get a good score is to spend as little as possible getting 50 scores and swapping items around until you don't get any weaknesses. It's funny that taking a sauna is a weakness, but not having a single heavy turbo or tractor beam isn't a weakness. :)

Hey, it's still the highest score I've seen so far. If it's cheap and it works, it still works. :P

Purple Pimpin' Death Star

Yes it's overbudget. But it's got max laser cannons and HTLs and no exhaust port and full quantum-wank armor. It's INVEENCEEBLE!

The score's identical with tractor beams or two laser cannons in place of the turbolaser.

Extra naval capacity helps less than the weapons.

Upgraded the defenses a little. It won't carry Star Destroyers and make new asteroid fields, but it'll fuck up some planets and mow through fleets like no tomorrow. And no mere starfighter attack is getting through here! Not with the full armor and my ray and particle shielding.

In other words, under budget, fully operational, can still ruin planets, and will take on anything the Rebel scum care to throw at it.

EDIT: For more fun, although grossly overbudget:

http://www.deathstardesigner.com/station/22176

It'll do though, since it's the Emperor's personal plaything. :D

Oh, and it was supposed to be Sith Black but I guess it didn't acknowledge that change. Oh well.

It's pretty easy to get 50's in everything with a 500 km hull but hard with a 120 km hull (under budget of course). The hull levels seem like difficulty levels, 500 for easy and 120 for hard.

Hey, are you guys serious when you say that clicking those links doesn't give you an itemised breakdown? It's wierd you're quoting your builds, when anyone can just click on the link and get the exact contents and rating of it. Or is that just me? :?:

I think the way it works is, if there are no weaknesses it gives you the breakdown. Otherwise it just lists whatever weakness there is.

That's the way it works for me, anyway.

No, on IE it gives everything. On my Opera everything's fucked, sometimes the picture doesn't come up, sometimes the itemized breakdown doesn't come up, sometimes I can't click the items and bring up a close-up. Go figure :P.

EDIT: Actually I think RogueIce is right.

There's an 'open reactor shaft' option under the reactors. It adds a bit of cheap extra power.
