Arty, eh? Not bad. Though the few FA officers I've known fall into either A) Batshit Insane or B) Utterly Useless (though he was Guard, so...).
Oh, and just because you're combat arms, it does not make it a high-speed work environment by default.

National Guard. Everyone tells me I could go active if I tried, And I agree. but I'd rather start slow.
