If you'll remember my "Expulsion of Member" thread, this is why SD.net is NOT a place of debating, it's a place of bashing. You take a person's words and morph them to your liking, and then insult them to the point where they cannot make a rebuttle of argument without being insulted and scorned. Nice site.

You don't get it do you? When you mis-understand stuff and then insist that you didn't after being repeatedly corrected by other members, it tends to piss us off. When you then go on to call Mike an idiot because you could not understand what he's saying, you're just asking for trouble. This is a nice site, we just don't tolerate idiots too well.

PS. The "style over substance" fallacy is the belief that the strength of an argument or rebuttal is tied to the manner in which it's presented rather than its content. By claiming that we don't debate simply because we're not polite, you are guilty of it. If you're too much of a wimp to take the heat for your fucking stupid ideas, and too much of an idiot to understand that the meat of an argument is its content rather than its presentation, then stop whining, stop threatening like a petulant child, and just get the fuck out. I'd just like to point out that i was brought up an aethiest and I've always felt empty that there's nothing that I can take blind comfort in. I have no peev with any person or religion and feel no hate to anyone who does. But I believe a religion can be a very good thing...comforting, and in some cases, a way to teach people good ideas.

Recently I've been studying the backgroung of Zen Buddhism, and belive it to be the best example as to what I belive. A religion should not be used as a means to gain wealth or persecute others, but only as a way to comfort yourself, and help make you a good person.

Mike, you seem to have a great hatred for people who ignore science in the face of evidence that contradictswhat they believe, and I understand that, but unless they are harming someone, what does it matter. Let them be.
