Quick compatibility check

Post by Edward Yee »

I don't recall if I asked this, but what's the compatibility of wireless networking between a Media Center-equipped laptop, and a XP Pro-equipped desktop?

It should be the workable. My laptop is running Media Center and it hasn't had any serious problems with wifi networks of any sort that I've connected to.

As far as I am aware, Media Centre is XP Pro with the Media Centre stuff bolted on top.

My home network is the reverse of what you are describing, with a XP Pro laptop connecting to a Media Centre desktop, I have had no issue regarding compatability.
