We don't get a good view, but Kwon says his name in recognition and Fettel starts talking about how he got visions from the "good Lieutenant's" mind.Alyeska wrote:Thats the only time I saw anything, and that didn't look much like Jankowski.

What a bullshit ending.
And, as a point of realism- I'm sorry- they're just a battalion of soldiers. Between the original game and it's expansion pack, surely you've killed most of them by now?
I don't see how a mere battalion of these guys can represent a particularly large threat.

Unless the writing's so bad that it's stated that they are a direct military threat to the whole country, they may mean in a 'secondary' sort of way - the Replicas are packing some serious technology on their persons.Vympel wrote:I don't see how a mere battalion of these guys can represent a particularly large threat.
What is Project Zohar?
Here's to a certain mostly harmless nutcase.

Alma resurrected Fettel. Its possible she Resed the soldiers as well. A Batallion of soldiers can easily explain the first game. Thats a shitload of troops and in the single night that game took place they couldn't get enough assets in place and they were trying to use FEAR and Delta to assiniate Fettel to make the replica soldiers go away. By the end of the game the Pointman had killed his way (piecemeal) through a good chunk of the formation. When Extraction Point starts, Alma has cleared the city and ressed the Replca's (that would explain why Fettel was surounded by them when he awoke).

"The captain claimed our people violated a 4,000 year old treaty forbidding us to develop hyperspace technology. Extermination of our planet was the consequence. The subject did not survive interrogation."

I really dislike the whole resurrection angle. In the immortal words of God from the film Navy Seals:Alyeska wrote:Alma resurrected Fettel. Its possible she Resed the soldiers as well. "Did you engage hostiles?"
"I vapourized hostiles."
How exactly did she resurrect someone I turned into goo with a close-range shot-gun blast?

Your asking this about someone who's capable of vaporizing someone with her mind and projecting long distances, capable of modifying the world around her into a terrible nightmare?Vympel wrote:I really dislike the whole resurrection angle. Actually, that's an interesting question- when the FEAR Point-Man has one of his bizarre teleportative visions or whatever they are- what does an outsider see? Is the FEAR guy simply shooting into thin air back where he "really" is? Is he having visions? Or is he being teleported into a real place, on some level?

Surely they'd notice his tracker moving.
LOL! Who am I kidding.
He often 'comes back' to people harrassing him, people who clearly didn't notice his radio stop working or whatever. I figure he just drools into his spacesuit for a few seconds, while Alma tries to kill you for no good reason for a while.
