Isn't Sony, with all their record and TV subdivisions, basically a part owner of the Emmys, anyway?

I can't say im impressed, the Emmys have always been Sony whores, just look at their history of awards and nominations. Hell, Xross Media Bar got a nomination.

To be fair, Sony does have a long history of real innovation and good design in the TV production world.
