In the last war 3'd, though it was the 24th mech at the time, was the first heavy unit to deploy. It wont be the first this time since we already have armor forces in Kuwait. But sending it over will give the US more then two heavy divisions worth of equipment on hand.

Actually I think I screwed up, this should boost it to something like 2.5-3 divisions worth of heavy gear not 2. There's also unknown equipment in Israel in addition to the 69th Air Defense Artillery Brigade. I'd suspect its not heavy armor or anything like that though.Howedar wrote:Wacky. 3ID will send three brigades over there (two Bradley and one tank). Think 3d BDE is already on the ground.
