At least for me it's not about finding the one magical special time. When I was 16-20 I would have been happy to lose that status, now that I'm over twenty, I think hay might as well wait now till it means something. Not that I'm neccersary looking for a life long partner to lose it too, but I want it too mean something. (Well more than just losing the cherry I mean)
My problem, I'm shy around women whom I don't know as friends. As for those I do know as friends, there is no way I want to risk the friendships... The biggest problem is take the above point and add my FAR too long thing for one my best Female Friends, and my desire to keep it under wraps. (that covers the entire period between 16-18 years old, (and before that as well) I wanted to be with that Girl and no one else.) Now a days a bit of the curse lingers most people that I fancy Are Friends, and I value the friendship too much...
