I downloaded that game a few days ago and have been having good fun with it.
Its a freeware RTS in full 3d. Graphics are simple but very good looking. And the story is just hilarious. In short, Rabbits from Carrotland are fighting invading Pigs from Republic of Pigs. This game kinda reminds me of Kill Krush'n'Destroy game I played a few years ago.
The game is not really anything new, apart from one simple thing that changes the gameplay significantly: all vehicles use fuel and ammo and you have to supply your units if you want to have your war machine going.
I was wondering why didn't anybody else think of that.

SWINE is pretty old non? Good graphics from what I remember tough. Pretty hard as well iirc
Really? I really missed out on this title then.Bounty wrote:It was released commercially in 2001, I remember seeing an item on it on some games show. So did the developer release it as freeware? It did get solid reviews - not a classic, but fun and pretty.SWINE is pretty old non?

It's only cool if it's implemented right, though.Tolya wrote: The game is not really anything new, apart from one simple thing that changes the gameplay significantly: all vehicles use fuel and ammo and you have to supply your units if you want to have your war machine going.

Otherwise, it's just a pain in the ass - Earth 2150 tried to do it, and it went well with a supply system you could set up that was automatic.
In Earth 2140 it was nothing but a pain.
So which one is it with SWINE?
