Goddammit. I'm going to have to look over the session code and figure out what's going on. At least people can still post by simply hitting "submit" again, but it's still annoying.

Right now the problem I reported seems to be with the "quick reply" posts. Posting through the regular "reply", "quote" or "edit" buttons doesn't seem to have the irritation.

I've been getting the invalid session message posting through quoted posts.

Also, just now, through quick reply.

Edit: Strange; it happened twice in a row, and then hasn't happened twice in a row.

It seems to be varying from user to user such as Luzifer who can't reply at all.

I've started getting messages 'lost' if submitted through 'quick reply'. It redirects back to the thread, not the the 'message submitted' message, and the message is gone.

It isn't consistent however: I've started copying to clipboard and resubmitting if it goes wrong, and that works so far.

LOL I just got invalid session here.

I just made a modification to the quick reply code. Let's see if that fixes it.

EDIT: it worked just now. No "invalid session" error for this quick reply.

I don't know what just happened but I was going to reply to a post in AMP and my IE crashed, when I rebooted the whole thread in AMP was gone?

Earlier today (between Noon and 1 PM CST) I clicked the link for Testing and it made my computer suddenly do an improper shutdown and reset itself.

PHP is a server-side scripting language. There is no way that a PHP bug should make your machine shut down or crash. The fault must lie with your browser or OS.

It looks like I managed to nuke to notification settings. I've check "Notify me when a reply is posted" and I've try to reset the notification by clicking "Stop Watching this Topic" and then "Watch this Topic", as well as toggling the notification option in my profile.

This started two days ago, when after an OS reinstall. I fat-fingered the password on the first log-in attempt, but the second log-in attempt was successful. And PM notifications appear to work.

4) I purged my home machine's cache, and I'm about to do the same to my work machine.
