It bears only a passing resemblance to the bat'leth.

It's a good weapon- but not as good as my custom built Daedric Katana StormReaver with over 50 lightning damag.

In addition- what's with the Ebony Armor? It's a total waste- you can get nearly all the protection Ebony offers with Glass Armor for a mere fraction of the weight.

Dump the Masque of Clavicus Vile and go with the Helm of Oeryn Bearclaw while you're at it.

And go get the Boots of the Apostle and the fists of Randagulf.

That thing looks unwieldy. Batleth atleast are oriented so that theyre more like double ended curved daggers, but that thing looks horrible. I mean, if you healy it out straight so that it lays flat parallel to the ground, youd need a good grip to keep it from rotating down because of gravity. Not only that, but the distance from the handle to the tips and the angle of the blades make its performance less then a batleth. With this thing, youre hitting mainly with the tips since the cutting edge is on the inside curve and when you swing youre going to at best hit with the tip since the other blade would block the hit from making it to the further down parts of the cutting edge. That means that youre putting more force on the sword to get the same result as from a batleth, and the ANGLE makes it worse since theres very little wrist motion available to the weapon.

The worst thing, tho, is the fact that a gentle push on the ends can swing the weapon around so its pointing in the wrong direction. This is a bad idea.

Holy shit, something that’s actually worse! I didn't think that was possibul without an active effort to make it so.

That thing could only be used in a scything/sweeping manner. Its shit. Like a bat'leth, but moreso because it only has a single possible hand position.

Agreed. It retains the bat'leth's bulk, but without the second hand it's much more difficult to control. In order to control the "roll" of the weapon, one now uses insufferably weak wrist muscles, instead of the ones on the arm that the bat'leth uses. While the blades themselves are fairly well designed as individual weapons, they are also ludicrously counter-productive, and the DECREASED range of the weapon only makes things worse. The weapon here doesn't even have anything to protect one's hands, should an opponent unfortunately parry one's attack!

A useless, heavy weapon. Even worse off.

I bet someone could probably slice their own head with that weapon.

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."
