These things aren't exactly unheard of, and I'm not quite sure what explanations there are for child prodigies. I suppose she might be able to visualise thing in her mind in ways most children cannot, and keep those visualisations long enough to paint them.

Actually, it's not. This was posted over at SA a while back, and someone brought up the fact that her artwork is all paint by squares.

She finds photographs of stuff, sticks it on a canvas, cuts out the photo piece by piece and paints in the missing part to match up with whats bordering it.

It's an incredibly easy technique. Hell, as an eigth grader in middle school, I was able to draw the German dreadnought Friedrich der Grosse in great detail using the same technique.

Easy: most fundies insist their own subconscious thoughts are messages from the All Mighty.

As for God actually wanting her to paint. Why would God do that? Aren't there ENOUGH religious paintings in the world already? How would a few more change anything? She doesn't actually think anyone is going to convert because of her art, does she?

Sorry, I don't have the drawing or the photograph with me, since they are at home (two hours away), but I found two images that are useful for describing the original photograph.

The dreadnought had its parade canvas up like in this photo, but was taken from this angle as it entered Wilhelmshaven.

That's how you know she's a liar. My kids are being raised atheist, and they've heard of Jesus countless times. Christianity is completely inescapable in the Americas. They've even complained to me before about classmates who won't stop talking about God and Jesus.

People always get irritated when I immediately label people like this "liars", but I really don't see any other way to describe them. That's what they are, and they were trained to be that way. Hell, Paul even tells them to do this in the Bible, where he teaches them that they should pretend to be like the people they're trying to convert.
