Anyone played Quest For Glory III?? Help!!!

Post by Kreshna Aryaguna Nurzaman »

I'm recently interested in old games & abandonwares. IMHO, their gameplay is **lot** better than most games today.

Now I'm starting to play Quest For Glory III - Wages Of War (Sierra). My character is a Paladin (I made Paladin in QfG II - Trial By Fire, then import to QfG III). Now I heard a Paladin can lit their sword (turn the sword into flamesword). The question is: How????

I've tried various ways like clicking the sword icon on myself (selecting the sword in the inventory so the cursor turned to sword, then click the sword on self), yet it didn't work. :(

Any classic Sierra fans here? Help!!!

If I remember correctly you should have gotten the flaming sword for your paladin in QfGII, if you didn't there is no way of getting it in QfGIII.

Oh I love the Quest for Glory series. Good choice to start playing again. However, I do not remember much about the old QfG games. Sorry.

Actually I got it. If we made Paladin in QfG II, Rakeesh give us his Flaming Sword (the Soulforge) in the ending sequence. The problem is I couldn't figure out the correct command to lit the sword (QfG III didn't use the parser anymore).

Oopss I mean figuring out the correct menu and the correct sequence of icon-clicking. You know I miss the good old parser.

I think you have a flame sword button during combat only.
Either that or it flames up automatically... I don't remember if I played as a paladin. I know I didn't when playing QfG 4, because my copy of QfG 3 was broken the first time (before I got the abandonware thingies)
