You know..what is really scary is that I CAN see that making perfect sense to some people. That is a very frightening prospect in itself.
I'm still optimistic enough to believe that ultimately the internet is a wonderful tool to fight ignorance and idiocy, and I would like to believe that most people would be open enough to eventually let their minds absorb enough factual information that upsets their applecart of false info. Maybe a regular percentage will remain inured to truth, but I want to believe the number will dwindle more and more with each passing year until eventually, the majority will be educated. Am I being hopelessly optimistic?

What's more frightening is the logical outcome of this ideology when applied to genetics and race. You see, white people are the mongrels of humanity, in the sense that they contain genetic material from the other races. According to the standard biological view, accounting for dating and geo-location etc., this means that humans branched out from their origins in Africa, created many variations, and then inter-breeding produced white Europeans.
But if you subscribe to the notion that it is impossible to add "new genetic information" through evolutionary processes, then the logical conclusion is that white Europeans are closer to the original "perfect" humans and that every other race has lost genetic material, hence they are all inferior.

But like you said, this can proven otherwise, no? Genetics shows quite clearly that whites are the biggest intermix out there? I wasn't aware of that and it is fascinating.
Is it true that in general the more intermixes the better? I'm always being subtly "told" this is true by such comparisons as mutts living much longer and tending to be healthier than most "purebred" dogs.
I can understand the basic concept as to why this would make sense, but is it more accurate to say "well it depends"?

The interpretation of "white people as mutts" is from conventional biology, not religious nutbar biology. Religious nutbar biology holds that there was some "perfect human" in our past, and that all humans can only have less genetic material than him. Going by that logic, and the fact that whites contain genetic material from the other races, whites must be closer to this original "perfection". It's a logical outcome given their insane premises, and I see no reason why white supremacists wouldn't latch onto it.

Maybe not from the religious nuts, but I can see the racist nuts picking up on it. The problem is whether this then lets them recruit from the religious nuts too.
