Who would win if the Galactic Alliance, around 45 ABY, with no other threats at the time, went to war with a 24th century Terran Empire, that did not collapse, and is a little more advanced and much more powerful than the Federation,and controls most of the Alpha and Beta Quadrants.

Every single time GE vs Federation comes up. Replacing the GE with the GA and the Feds with the hypothetical Terran Empire (the evidence for the capacities of would be?) merely reduces the one-sidedness of the scenario by a billionth of a percent or so.

The problem with just about any Star Trek civilisation vs Star Wars one is that the SW one is almost always (barring the Q etc) so obscenely powerful in comparison (with ship-building, weapons, shields, materials, numbers, the list goes on) that Star Trek just gets flattened.

The premise of this thread seems to suppose that the primary reason that the GE would stomp the Federation is because the GE is aggressive and militaristic while the Feds are peaceful. That is but one of MANY advantages the GE has over the FEDs. Take it away; reverse the personalities of the two organizations and little changes. The weapons, speed, construction, etc capabilities of the two remain pretty much the same and thus the Terran Empire still gets flattened in short order.
