The Colony Wars games were great, the first two especially because of the mpressive branching mission structure. Though Valdemar's struggle was a whole lot more 'important' compared to the civil war focus of the first two.
What is Project Zohar?

If Psygnosis comes back from the dead and develops an engine for the Neo-BSG game, they damn well better make it easier than CW: Vengance.

That was the hardest fucking game i've ever played.

Although comparatively, Red Sun was extremely easy.

I played Vengeance, and while it was okay for a console space sim, it still didn't hold a candle to games released on the PC years before. Of course, that's pretty much the case for every console game in a genre that got its start on the PC, and many that didn't.

Still, the cable thing was a neat idea, and the game became a lot more fun when I played it on an emulator with a proper joystick. Space sims simply cannot be played with those little thumb-nubs.

Most important of all from Psygnosis would be Lander 2. Lander (the 1999 version) was a gameplay marvel.

Oh man, Lander. Fucking Lander was awesome. It's a pity I didn't get to play it that much.

The cable was my god. Because I was pretty young when I played Vengeance I wasn't very good at keeping my guns on targets. But the cable made life so much easier.

Haha got you, League bastards!
