AVI to MP3
Can someone point me in the direction of a good AVI to MP3 converter? I'd like to convert a video of the only decent recording I could find of Liszt's Transcendental Etude No. 4 in D Minor, aka Mazeppa. I haven't been able to find a good program that's free (or a free mp3 to rival Berezovsky's performance). They all either limit the time or convert only a certain percentage of the video. Pretty annoying. Thanks.

Do you have windows? If so then use the freeware Microsoft Movie Editor to simpl take the AVI, and rip the movie content, then export to MP3, or is it WMA,

Hmm...I tried to import it...but it says it's invalid or corrupt. Any other suggestions?

Useful for this and many other things. It's free and only 1 1/2 megs (Don't worry about the money link, that's just for donations it's actually freeware).
Just start the program, select the AVI file, Set the output type to wav and then you should be able to convert the wav to MP3 with any number of programs if size is an issue or just keep it as is if file size doesn't matter.
