Good Games on 360?
so i brought back this dirt cheap NTSC/J 360 premium (38,700yens that's like 250 euros) with a bunch of games:
Earth Defense Force 3 (Giant ants and mutated robot lizards attacking earth)
PGR3 (race)
Dead or Alive 4 (fighting game)
Project Sylpheed (Macross-esque space shooters)
NNN (Dynasty warriors-like)
(all that for under 150 Euros thanks MS for dumping your price in Japan and the strong euros)
the games are fun but i want for more now: What should i buy?

Dead Rising and Saint's Row are winners.

Dead Rising was an absolute blast for me. You might also want to grab Condemned: Criminal Origins.Arthur_Tuxedo wrote:Dead Rising and Saint's Row are winners.
I think everyone's got the basics covered, but games you'll want to look for this year are Forza 2, Mass Effect (I'm really looking forward to this one), BioShock, Two Worlds, and Halo 3.

I generally find there's fairly little difference in score between the average and any one site. (and gamespot reviews at least have review text, which is the important bit).Bounty wrote:http://www.metacritic.com/games/xbox360/scores/
I'll buy blue dragon when they'll have it in stock somewhere >< (Blue Dragon is the only 360 game out of stock everywhere (with Idolm@ster))Spanky The Dolphin wrote:I hear Blue Dragon is supposed to be a system saver.
Dead rising is definetely to buy, i've seen a Chrome Hounds at 20€, i'll try to check which eurorelease will work on my systems...
yeah Mass Effect, Bioshock and Halo3 are on my to buy list: i just hope that it will be either zone-free and i'll buy it or the japan/asia version come quickly.

Only buy Chromehounds if you intend to play it online. The single player game is basically a tutorial, and not very interesting to boot. The online game is the real game. If you get a good group of players (it's all strictly clan based) then you can have a blast with it.Mobius wrote: Dead rising is definetely to buy, i've seen a Chrome Hounds at 20€, i'll try to check which eurorelease will work on my systems...
They've rebalanced it recently as well, I may have to have a nose around and see if the new balance is any cop.

I have played two (2) games on the Xbox 360: Rockstar Games Presents Table Tennis, which was hella fun and had heaps of character, and Gears of War which completely rocked my socks and was a total blast in co-op. Playing both these games with a friend is just plain fine.
What is Project Zohar?
Here's to a certain mostly harmless nutcase.
