Rainbow Six: Vegas

Post by Tolya »

Beat the game yesterday. Im a fan of the "old", hardcore Rainbow Six games, where you had to plan and then execute.

Vegas is entirely different - its simply a Rainbow6 themed action shooter.

Having said that, I must admit that it was an excellent piece of entertainment. Excellent graphics, very nice AI, great gameplay. Story is a bit stupid, but well, I just wanted to shoot somebody.

I believe the intent/feel was that this'd result in a more "dynamic" experience, as opposed to what the R6 and Rogue Spear experiences were; I myself wasn't that much a fan of having to do that much manual pathfinding for the whole beforehand.
