Actually, I believe that a Valkyrie's mount was either a wolf, or a pack of wolves, such as those that frequent the aftermath of battles. Of course, there are other issues with your suggestion. To paraphrase a certain British guard, 'ow can a 4 pound bird support a 4 and a 'alf pound baby? It don't work!

No, that's what some babies look like when they first come out, you know before their first bath. This was probably taken right after birth and that's why that white gunk is there.

OF course Tranan would know if I am correct or not but this is what I think it is.

No, not yet its not. That white stuff is harvested from the new borns and processed and then turned into baby powder.

well with my very basic knowledge of biology, I would presume that the "white stuff" is salt (since babies live in a saline enviornment which has about the same consistancy as ocean water with extra O2, prior to joining us.

Well its more fat than salt. and it sinks in to the skin really good.

oh, and the valkyries mounts were indeed wolves, the raven's parts was that they could transform themselves into Ravens.
