I've got a mostly-clear sky here. Pic of the moon two minutes ago (with a shitty digital camera, so sorry about the quality):

Much to my chagrin, using a digicam and a pair of binos doesn't work too well.

It's actually pretty eerie in real life - like someone parked Mustafar in orbit.

And how I wish I had a telescope, professional camera and no light pollution right now...

I need some Jaffa Cakes to perform the ceremony.

"Full Moon... *chomp* Half Moon... *chomp* Total Eclipse! Again..."

Britons will get it.

Hey, wouldn't it be cooler if they had an AM production facility on Luna that then 'sploded like in The Time Machine remake?

Just returned from the Urania observatory (had a ticket booked in advance) - the clouds closed shortly before the total eclipse.
I was looking forward to observe it through a large telescope...:-(

Aw bloody hell. It's a beautiful and perfect night, but I forgot entirely about the eclipse.
