*groans* Well, no point in upgrading my hardware if it's just going to come out a week before I go back to Uni in the Fall.

I wonder what's the hiccup for.
I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

Optimistically, it means none of the features that anyone waiting for this game wants will have time to be properly implimented...

Realistically, it means they've got to start desciding what and where to cut.

My money's on the AI implimentation, and the management of alternate access to vital scenes...

Personally, I'm relieved by delays. It means that there's less of a chance of a total rush-job than without. And Bioshock really needs to be a star on every system it's released for...

You mean "Bioshock never had a concrete release date in the first place".

Seriously, it'll be out when it's out.

I just saw one of the recently released videos for the game (specifically the one concerning what it involves to take out one of the Big Daddies). Wow.

I'd say it's practically a system seller for the 360.

Killing the little girls though, man, I don't know how long I could really deal with that...

Well, you don't necessarily have to.

Notice how the Big Daddy sees you and points his weapon at you as a warning. He didn't actually fire until fired upon.

How you deal with the Little Girls, according to the podcasts, has a big impact on the game. You can look out for yourself and get the maximum amount of "Adam" for your Plasmid upgrades (ie. be an evil bastard and kill them/ steal from them) or you can protect them, which will affect the story and also have the added bonus of not requiring you to fight the Big Daddy creatures.

Seems like that syringe could do more than a bit of damage if a little girl ever chose to use it as a weapon. I think I'll be capping their asses from a distance if at all possible.

Didn't they mention that you could possibly become one of the Big Daddies?

No, but you can act like them, protecting the Little Sisters in return for Adam.

You can also obtain a plasmid that can make Big Daddies think you are a Little Sister, and protect you.

Yes, they did specifically say that.
