Hey, let's plow through the cliche problems of Kara Thrace one more time, because I just can't get enough of that. Also, why is she so pissed off at the oracle? She went to her, not the other way around.

I hope that Kara is a Cylon and all that stuff about her destiny is preprogrammed.
Why hope that? It's a cheap substuitute for writing, just like the destiny bit.

Why does the oracle cry?

Perhaps the truth is painful? Or something like that. It might be that the Oracle has seen the end of the episode and knows we won't like it. I don't like all this destiny and prophecy crap anyways.

I always loved the Babylon 5 version of time travel/knowing the future. Until now. Here, it just looks cheap and pulls me out of the story.
I don't like all this destiny and prophecy crap anyways.

Ummm, huh. Yeah, Starbuck should be grounded. Seeing your younger self in the cokpit is a bad sign. On the other hand, that might just be an indicator of her maturity, a sign that she's still a child in some ways. I do feel that she's emotionally and mentally punching above her weight at times. She's good now, imagine what she would be like with these issues dealt with.
