Yeah, if that's an April issue...somehow, this is just too insane to be true. It's not outside the realms of possibility, but getting permission to combine the Nintendo and Disney characters in one game (and remember here, TRON might have been in KH2, but Disney owns the rights to that anyway)...that's not easy.

I dunno. Some things about it make sense. There was speculation about KH going to Nintendo because of Sony's not doing so well with PS3...and I think Nintendo would be fine with the crossover if the game was exclusive (see Mario DDR and Soul Calibur with Link).
Also, Nintendo is going through a large stock deal and isn't allowed to make any forward-looking statements or significant new announcements, which would explain why they didn't announce it themselves (plus it's a SE developed game).
EGM is claiming it as an exclusive. That sorta risks the magazine's name. And it's not quite April yet, though it's the April magazine.

I'm not sure.
It's the April Magazine, so I can virtually guarantee that it's 100% fake. I think part of the reason EGM is successful in pulling these off every year is because their damn April issues come out in March (and very recently in late February!).
Titling the article "The ultimate fanboy pipe dream" is a little cheeky, too.
Regarding the subject of Kingdom Hearts, I'll just tell you what I've been telling all the other fanpeople:
Needs more StarCraft. Needs more Half-Life. Needs more Halo. Needs more Resident Evil. Needs more Metal Gear Solid. Needs more Command & Conquer.
I ship Eino Ilmari Juutilainen x Lydia V. Litvyak.

Stofsk: What are you, his mother?
The Yosemite Bear: Obviously, which means that he's grounded, and that she needs to go back to sucking Mr. Coffee's cock.

Best. Game. Ever.
Seriously though, I like crossover games. Soul Calibur 2, Smash Bros. I'm only ambivilent toward KH because I don't like Disney. If the new one (which I seriously doubt is real) is more of a Square-Enix/Nintendo crossover, that would be awesome.
What would be more awesome is if SE just went home to Nintendo altogether.
Man...I could only hope. As a Nintendo Exclusive, made by Square Enix, I could see it working.
Nintendo would of course, give rights to utilize their characters since it would only appear on their system, Disney already signed the agreements to liscence their characters to Square for the games, so why not?
I mean, the PS3 isn't getting any real sales, despite what we've seen to come for the system in the year, I doubt it'll drive sales much further up (PSHome and BigLittlePlanet....seems gimicky to me). Moving KH to the Wii could be a good move on Square's part.
I know it's probably a April Fools...but a man can dream.

Look, DarkSilver, even if the KH franchise moved to the Wii, that doesn't magically mean that Nintendo characters are going to show up in the game.

I know that just because it would move to the Wii, doesn't mean nintendo characters would appear in a game. I'm not that nieve DP.
I'm just saying, I could SEE it happening, especially if the game would be exclusive to the Nintendo platform. Thus the "man can dream" portion.
Geeze, lighten the hell up, would you?

People love Disney.
People love Nintendo.
Square Enix has a solid reputation for making games.
(Disney + Nintendo) * Square Enix = $$$$
I can see Nintendo getting a large boost in sales for the Wii from Kingdom Hearts/Playstation players as well as from the holdouts, the people who haven't yet decided between the Wii or PS3.
