yeah, I still have a Yoda and a R2. I have the Darth Vader collectors case with most of the action figures of my youth.Tsyroc wrote:I'm pretty much in the same boat. X-Wing, Luke, DV, BK (vinyl cape), Artoo, Threepio, Chewbacca, Stormtrooper....I think that's all I have from the first movie. I know I have Bobba Fett and Yoda both from around ESB. I don't think I have any figrues from RotJ time frame. I think all my figures still had their lightsabers but really pointy part might be missing on some.Knife wrote:I'm old so I have alot of original SW stuff in a box under the stairs. Got an original Luke, Darth Vader (though I lost his lightsaber long ago), a Ben Kenobi, a Stormtrooper, and a bunch of others. I think I even have the Emperor somewhere. I have a vintage Hasbro Millineum Falcon, an X wing (its the battle damaged one), and the scout walker too.
I used to have a shit load of other stuff, but alot got handed down to my brother who promply broke the shit.
I had a die-cast Milleneum Falcon (about the size of my hand) and a Tie-fighter (wings came off and you could take out the pilot) but whether those are being stored in the same box is hard to say.
What is the oldest piece of SW/ST merchandise you own

But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red

Man, I loved my ATAT, but alas it is one of the things my brother destroyed when I joing the Corps. and he inherited my shit.Kelly Antilles wrote:Bitch! I've always wanted one of those! Let's see, my husband has probably 30 or so original figures (minus guns, since they easily get lost in the yard) and several playsets, a SW ESB blanket, a diecast Falcon figure, several records (yes, ALBUMS), a storybook, an original stuffed Ewok, a couple of models... and I think that's it. (all originals)
We have quite a few ST:TNG figures and toys.

Unfortunately, I 'm old enough to have stuff from the original SW up to and past the OT. As I said I am old.

I have a little The Empire Strikes Back Kenner toy cataloge, the kind that came packaged in the toys, from about 1980.
Oldest Star Trek stuff: The Read Along story books and 45 records for The Motion Picture and The Wrath of Kahn. Easily from the mid-1980s.

I have the very first run of the Star Trek micro machines. I have the first boxed set of ST1-5.

I used to have the Obi Wan, Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader that had the telescoping sabres. They were my brother's (I wasn't born until 1980). Whatever happened to them is anyones guess. I was notorious for burying action figures in the backyard. My mother recently (within six months) dug up a vintage Stormtrooper. I found the Darth Vader but he is lost again. heh.
One last thing, there is a house a few streets from me, that for as long as I can remember has had Star Wars curtains in one of the bedroom windows.

I'm not sure how old they are (got them from my cousin who's in his 30s), but I have Luke in the black outfit from the beginning of RotJ, someone in a red flightsuit with a freaky football-shaped helmet, 2 R2-D2s, one of the red R-unit that blows his top during the Sandcrawler scene, the power droid (blue box with legs), a stormtrooper, a Weequay, and Leia from the Endor expedition (with fabric cloak). All the weapons are lost, so they're probably worthless. I may have more, I just haven't dug through my box of old toys in a while (Gen 1 Transformers (including Fortress Maximus), Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future, old G.I. Joe, a couple Go-Bots, most of the Monster in My Pocket Gen One...yeah, I'm a pack rat).
