Ever since I installed this mod I've had no trouble whatsoever with treacherous AI even on very hard difficulty. It works exactly as promised in the first post and after three months of Ultimate AI enhanced game play I can heartly recommend it.

The only challenge I've ever experienced in this game is from vh/vh. It doesn't matter if everyone hates you, that just gives you an excuse to conquer everyone. It's more fun if you have a war going on every front!
On a sidenote, I noticed in the last patch notes they added Hotseat play. Has anyone given that a go? I would but I've been playing Rome Total War as I prefer the Classical setting.

Yeah see, but if it's just a war on everyone I find that I have no problem conquering them all and getting to the 45 regions needed to win before the Mongol Horde comes along. I have yet to see the Mongols. Sure I can just keep playing after conquering them all but what is the fun in that? Also, the diplomacy system reminds me of the diplomacy system of civ1 and 2. In those games, the AI wasn't smart enough to give the human player a good challenge in the late game so the AI would just dog pile the player. I'd rather play a game with a good smart AI rather than just face dog piles of AI countries, which I find to just be a lame cop out. At least this game doesn't give the AI Civs bonuses which is another thing I don't like.
