Question about Audio in Oblivion

Post by AidanMcfay »

Ok, I tryed to rename some music files and toss them into the folder containing the audio files to Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, to no avail... I just woke up and I'm completely confused as to why this didn't work. Are they diff file types? I renamed that properly?

There's probably some sort of scripting issue involved (ie. the music changes if you're attacked etc).

You need to put them in the proper subdirectories, which are:

data\music\battle
data\music\dungeon
data\music\explore
data\music\public

Also, I believe the only format that works is mp3. I know MP3 works fine. Search for "Michikawa Oblivion Music Pack" to see an example.
Artillery. Its what's for dinner.
