Darkstar claims that the arrow he highlighted is the cause of the scout trooper's death. This clearly shows that there is an arrow in his neck.

Here is the page in the valley of ignorance (darkstar's site) which deals with the incident, in his own fradulent way. He attempts to deal with other counter claims. But this one is a massive six inch nail in his argument's coffin.

Ah danken...and yes, yet another nail into his coffin though it already seems he's just bolstering his near inulnerable Wall of stupidity(this goes beyond just being ignorant)

Can't see anything. It's obvious that scout trooper was ducking arrow fire due to reflexes, not to an actual hit. Darkstar's merely putting a red line there to make us think it's there :?

No, I think that there is something there. I can't tell you for sure that it is an arrow, or where it struck, but there does appear to be a blurry line along the area that is highlighted in the above image.

its difficult to derive any conclusion aside from that he has an arrow stuck in him due to the fact that its so blurry. in all honestly though it does look like its protruding from the back. i really don't see anything suggesting a second arrow or one hanging around the neck. the red line and the yellow line aren't even coming from the same angle either.
That, and the damn arrow pictures are so damned SMALL.

I hope you guys realize that this whole thread is moot since he'll just ignore it. Hell, I used his own damn pictures against him and he still ignored them.

I'm sorry, I can't see shit.

And it reminds me too much of a moon landing hoax picture, unfortunately.

Yes. I know it's terribly blurry, I wonder is that actually in the film or did Dorkstar add in his arrow. If anyone has a high res version, feel free to send it to me.

The image is too blurry and pixelated to see anything conclusive (but, that's Darkstar method, right?)
The dark areas can be (and probably are) darker parts of the stortrooper equipment.
The problem with analysing enclear pictures is the same as the ink blot tests, people see diferent things... Just like the famous Face of Mars. (And my opinion is a ligth/shadow phenomenum).

I'm sorry to bring bad news, but I checked my version of RotJ frame by frame and it seems that he's right: the scout got an arrow in the neck, or at least pretty close to it. Immediately he appeared to fall forward.

I've extracted a 2 second clip, full resolution (640 x sumthin'), takes about 200k but it requires DivX to view.

Just as an aside- how do we know that trooper died?

I don't recall evidence that a single soldier died from arrows at any point in the entire battle.

I think the whole thing's surrounded with the 'Ewok victory' brainbug. They had an AT-ST commandeered, people. Sheesh.

Let me know if there's a problem. BTW I cut it at the point where the scene begins and ends; there isn't a single frame of that scene either before or after.

That trooper is definitely not dead.

As for the arrow, I can only see one.
