Outlook 2003 just developed a very interesting problem. When I was clicking links, one Firefox window would open as normal, but an open file dialog would pop up, wanting an .exe to open the link with, so I gave it Firefox's .exe. So now when I click on a link, I get two Firefox windows.
This only happens if Firefox isn't open before hand. If Firefox is open and I click on a link, everything acts normally.
Any ideas what's going on?

I haven't update to 2.0.0.3 yet. I know MS pushed out an update to Windows Defender yesterday, so I'm wondering if that's got some to do with it (that's the only change to my system).Stormbringer wrote:Did you get the recent update of Firefox? Though if you can, I'd suggest just converting to Thunderbird. It's got the same functionality as Outlook but with out the M$ attitude problems when it comes to working with non-MS programs.
I tried that before. IIRC, it wouldn't read all my folders when importing email. Hell, I even tried using Windows Mail when I first installed Vista, but getting it to import from Outlook 2003 requires a whole bunch of bullshit. I guess I can give Thunderbird another shot.Stormbringer wrote:That could be it.
