All you need is a mic and a program like Audacity. Set the source, hit record, save as WAV, done.
But... that would mean actually springing for a good mike!

It might be nice to actualy see a bunch of sovereigns in trying to fight a star destroyer [we have seen how galaxy class have done in the Dominion war].

Dominion war? More like Wolf 359, depending how true to the numbers you go.

I have the TNG-style uniforms ready to go, but I'd have to experiment and work on new uniforms.
I think they're going to be more pissed that a single ISD is going to vaporize their entire heroic empire, so choice of uniforms is hardly that big of a deal.

Sadly, the pre-wolf incident with Picard mouthing off to Q would have made a perfect 'act of plot' reason for why there's an ISD headed towards Earth. Since you wanted to avoid that though, I'd just ignore it. A minor bit of continuity shouldn't really matter too much. Hell, feel free to have the Romulans, Breen, Klingons, Tholians and future-trek Timeships come and try to stop the thing before it slags Earth, it won't matter. No number of them would really add up to anything anyway. Plus, it'd be interesting to see wings of Bird of Prey fleeing from TIE fighters.

You're all aware that the film is already gone through a few episodes, right? This thread was dead for over half a year before Jericho Kross started resurrecting stuff in STvSW.

Due to a trainload of RL crap happening in the past couple months, I've only started production on part 4 last night. And..."Captain Anderson" hasn't sent me the rest of the voice-overs yet.

1 - Thread necromancy is a bad thing, mkay?

2 - Try using the search function, or even reading some of the recent threads. . .like this one.

Considering the low post traffic this forum gets necromency rules should be relaxed here. There are still many threads from last year in the front page.
I have to tell you something everything I wrote above is a lie.

I'm not sure just how long a topic should be inactive before it's considered dead, no matter how useful a contribution a poster makes

I certainly think they could be relaxed for technical commentaries and so on - eg Connor's big lasgun analysis thread. If a new book comes out in 6 months I'd rather see it go into that thread than start a new one.
