I incorporate all parts of the canon, and it doesn't specifically rule out cloning, GeNode expected the Empire to last quite a while, it would go with reason that they'd start makeing unnaccelerated clones.Jericho Kross wrote:I am pretty sure that Guardsmen were changed from being clones into different soliders that were trained[Kanos has aged well]
GeNode was so covert in their operations that other than the Jango Clones and some exceptional batches the individual clones that made up 40% of the Stormtrooper Corps didn't even know they were clones after cloning was made illegal, if you could train children into being martyrs for the Republic when they grow up, you can damn well trick one into thinking he's someone he's not.and the clone idea was droped because there were already guardsmen from other planets[check wookiepedia]

The Guardsmen are chosen from selevt members of the Stormtrooper Corps and thus 40% are Clones and 60% are recruits. The Stormtrooper Corps, like most most of the positions of the Empire, was human-only so I don't see what your point is. Until the fall of the Empire, 40% of the Stormtrooper Corps were Clones and the rest were recruits.Jericho Kross wrote:It is also possible that they were taken from all areas of the galaxy. I think most of the guards should be human[ it would be much quicker in terms of availability]. Just a thought how many stormtroopers were clones apart of the military at that time?

I am soooo tired... Ghetto Edit: The Guardsmen are chosen from select members of the Stormtrooper Corps, thus we can reasonably assume ~40% are clones and ~60% are recruits.General Schatten wrote:The Guardsmen are chosen from selevt members of the Stormtrooper Corps and thus 40% are Clones and 60% are recruits.

Where do you think the 501st and Shocktrooper GeNode Clonetroopers were created?Jericho Kross wrote:We also knowthat Kanos is a stormtrooper from coruscant[this is why I was wondering if you know the number of clones verses recruits].
The Imperial Remnant started recruiting from alien species under the command of Daala since the loss of the Phase III Clonetroopers (The Clone Stormtroopers), Imperial Conscription, and Recruiting from Ecumenopolises like Coruscant undercut their forces SIGNIFICANTLY, the 501st Remnants from the Empire of the Hand had dwindled to only a handful of squads made of alien and female recruits in addition to male humans from their previous thousands of Jango Clones.Jericho Kross wrote:Humans are all across the galaxy [on most worlds] so it is not unlikely that stormtroopers were from the outer rim [ Imperial remanent had to get it's troops from somewhere].That was my point.

There however is still many male humans serving in the remanent. Also most of the moffs are human male [except for one] so human high statis is not completly dead [the new republic sill has many humans in high goverment statis too]. Actually do you know how many species are in the imperial remenant? I know munns and general greivious 's species are in imperial space[along with over a thousand worlds] but do you know any involved in the imperial navy?

The Empire of the Hand would quite literally take anyone they could. Secondly, you don't seem to understand, the Empire could previously afford the losses from turning away aliens and women.Jericho Kross wrote:There however is still many male humans serving in the remanent. In what way? You realise that the Empire made trillions of clones and recruited billions from ecumenopolises (City-Planets)? Wait, why am I arguing with you over the remnant when the original purpose was whether the Imperial Knights were more equal to Imperial Guards or Sovereign Protectors?Jericho Kross wrote:Stormtrooper now also act as police in the remenant so this will also diverseify the stormtrooper corps.

You mean except for the part where they trained with a weapon that can cut them in half if they make a mistake, the Sovereign Protectors are above the Imperial Guardsman, but not by much, as evidenced by Carnor Jax whom was technically a Sith Lord being beaten by a Guardsman who couldn't even recognize his own Force Powers.Jericho Kross wrote:Why don't we just say that imperial knights are better than royal guards but not as good as soveriegn protectors just to help end the 'who is better' contest.

Jan Durseema alluded that Adalric Cessius Brandl or a descendant may have had something to do with the Imperial Knights, so I'm putting my bets on him.

I find myself wondering who voted for option #3, and what the hell they were smoking. Jedi Vs. Borg is obviously a no contest situation. Jedi have enhanced senses, enhanced strength, speed and stamina, precognition, telekenesis, and fucking lightsabers! Borg drones can shuffle along like zombies and infect people with nanoprobes, if the person is incredibly friggin' slow or retarded.
How on earth can anyone reach the conclusion that three Imperial Knights could possibly be killed or assimilated by drones at all!?

If the borg were smart it would be quite trivial.
Depressurise the ship just enough for the Knights to pass out. Borg drones can operate in vacuum for an extended period. Jedi can't do nearly as well without air, as far as I know.
Waiting for them to collapse and then sticking them with the vampire prongs should work.
The borg, also, as we know, are retards. Therefore, I voted for the Imperial Knights. But still, it's possible...
