Singuler Quartet: the Nevada incident occured because the S2 Engine in the Eva 04 created a Sea or Dirac* while it was receiving it's soul.

*What the Eva 01 disappeared into while fighting Leliel.

That is proof of the Angel's uber-1337 conservation-of-mass-defying regenerative abilities. Biological weapons don't seem that good now, do they?
I am capable of rearranging the fundamental building blocks of the universe in under six seconds. I shelve physics texts under "Fiction" in my personal library! I am grasping the reigns of the universe's carriage, and every morning get up and shout "Giddy up, boy!" You may never grasp the complexities of what I do, but at least have the courtesy to feign something other than slack-jawed oblivion in my presence. I, sir, am a wizard, and I break more natural laws before breakfast than of which you are even aware!

So? What's your point?

The UN essentially gave up any more counterattacks against Angels after Sachiel, after which the JSSDF took up the cause of (at the most) slowing them down while NERV deployed the Evas.

So, why would missiles fired by a non-UN source magically do better?

If that had been a USSR/US attack force, after the conventional weapons
had proved ineffective, they'd have moved on to the full gamut of nasty
"special weapons".

VX, sarin, etc, and of course, your ever trusty B-61

Does the good old N2 mine count?

Note: Planes.avi removed due to space limitations. Avalable upon request.

They aren't intrested in moving survivors into tokyo-4, or back into tokyo-2., but you keep missing this point

Yeah right. I can achieve the same effect with a good old FAE dropped out
of a C-130. Blast capable of knocking people 4 miles away on their asses.

BTW, it is a fai question to ask "What effect does an N2 mine have on an angel?"

The answer, not much. Note the N2 mine going THROUGH the AT field.

Shep: Bio/Chem weapons won't effect Angels because they're not organic.

Despite the fact that they only have the forms they do simply because they chose them.

It's totally irrelevent to attack the Angels based on their totally arbitrary bodies.

FAEs are the largest conventional bombs in existence, but they have
less than one thousandth the power of the Hiroshima nuclear bomb.

Or your typical nuke warhead. If that much power from a FAE scratched the
angel's surface, imagine what something 1,000 times more powerful would do....

Then how can EVAs be grown then?

Yogi: what are these clips of? I don't have the time to download them.

I'm assuming the last one is Zeruel.

Shep: they're not grown because they're biological. They're grown because they're based off of the Angels. And that's the only way Eva's can be made.

Actually, it really didn't.

Perhaps this is a bit sudden, but how do you propose to fight the angel that turns into a Sea of Driac, the angel that is a massive orbital bomb, or the angel that drives men mad?

I thought they were just weirdly organic. I mean, Eva's bleed[1], and Angel's can be eatten[2], but that's not recommended...

[1]as shown when 01 goes berserk in the first 2 episodes, and again when Dummy Plugged 01 ripps apart 03.

[2]The third time 01 goes wacky.

Yep, Broadband is Great.

The clips are
1) The Third Angel attacking Tokyo-3 in episode 1
2) A shot of the tank battalion mensioned in the clip (the one at the beginning of the episode)
3) A scene of Lilith regenerating after the Lance of Longinitus was pulled out
4) A shot of the N2 explosion in episode 1
5) A shot of the N2 mine going off against Zeruel

Zeruel wasn't eaten for digestion, it was consumed to absorb the S2 organ.

Yes, the Angels are alive and they have souls, but they're not organic.

Gotta love broadband...No, you don't get it. You GOT TO LOVE BROADBAND. LOVE BROADBAND NOW OR DIE! :D
ISARMA: Daikaiju Coordinator: Just Add Radiation
Justice League- Molly Hayes: Respect Hats or Freakin' Else!
Browncoat
Supernatural Taisen - "[This Story] is essentially "Wouldn't it be awesome if this happened?" Followed by explosions."

Reviewing movies is a lot like Paleontology: The Evidence is there...but no one seems to agree upon it.

Might be a good idea to explain what the Sea of Dirac is, since I only sorta remember. IIRc, its a black circular pool that's a form of spacial warp. STuff onto falls in, but its fairly hard to get back out.
