Hear fucking hear. They bore me to tears. Especially Gran Turismo- I mean, I can bear to play a racing game with a decent damage model- one of the games he got was MotorStom, which is actually decent from a "holy shit look how I just got tossed from that dirt bike" point of view.

But Gran Turismo- blargh.

(he downloaded Gran Turismo)

The other game he got was Need for Speed Carbon.

For the record- he goes mostly by IGN reviews. So when I questioned him as to why he didn't get Resistance, he said "it got bad reviews". It got 8.0 on IGN. Need for Speed got 7.9.

It's also funny now that I mention him downloading Gran Turismo- he activated the Playstation 3's on-line functionality the day he got it- put it on our wireless connection and everything.

He had an XBox 360 for months (he sold that to a friend of mine for 350AUD- genius.) and never bothered to do the same.

Such a Sony fanboy.

Same here. You're going in circles.

The only two racing franchises I enjoy are Burnout (me like smashing things) and Mario Kart.

Wait, he got NEED FOR SPEED CARBON?

Is this kid nuts?

I repeat, repo the PS3 if he doesn't pay you back.

Can't you just kidnap the PS3, keep it in a safe location, and tell him he'll get it back when he repays you in full for all the games he stole? You can send him random pictures showing the PS3 with a noose wrapped around it, or a guy sitting next to it wearing a ski mask and holding a knife.

The problem with all these suggestions is that my brother will beat the shit out of me. When we fight- he has the fight, I'm just along for the ride. I've never won except for once when I grabbed his fist and somehow managed to bend his fingers at some ridiculous angle- which got me a temporary reprieve at best.

He's now offered to pay me back by buying me PS3 games. Meh. Dunno really. With no PS2 there's no point in getting the games back, as he originally offered to do. But then, the PS3 is his (or at least it will be when the fucker pays me back) and he'll take it with him when he leaves. Stuff it, I'll take the cash.

Then sell it, man. Not only would you be fully justified, but the cash should be more than enough to recover most of the games you care about, plus a PS2.
If my brother ever did something like that, I know that is what I would do (though he would never. He's too smart to buy a PS3. )

Or is the PS3 doing as bad over there as it is here?

What, don't tell me you can't press assault charges in Australia. :P

Your brother will steal from you, then BEAT you for protesting? Fuck him, it's time for th civil lawsuit and the restraining order.

You mean by buying games he was probably going to buy for his PS3 anyway? Games that will magically end up as "his" in the long run?
