Seeing that you're the first person to discover and observe this phenomenon, I do believe you have the rights for naming it. However, I'm poaching those right and naming it "Iggy's Law". :D

God damn newbies. Something resembling the Internet has been around since 1969; the only major change in 1995 was the closure of the NSFNet backbone.

Re: If you could have kissed anyone at midnight...

[quote="Zaia"]So, with New Year's Eve just passed, I was wondering who you would choose to have kissed at midnight. Anyone: celebrity, model, real life person, anime character, historical figure, SD.net board member--what or whoever! :D [quote]

Hrmf...since I just got back to my computer (ah, good to be away from my parents' old Celeron II!), I'll answer this. Anyone laughs, they get a Hadoken...at least .

Celebrity: Most of the ones I know of are older than I am. If Miranda Otto wasn't a dozen+ years older than I am...(just saw Two Towers on Thursday).
Model: Yech. Someone who looks like a real person, if there still are any.
Real Life Person: My friend Amy. We went to high school together (she graduates this year) and were on the same drumline. We weren't real great friends until after I graduated, since I was a Captain and she was a second-year student. She's become Captain now, and we'll discuss things in both French and English (the good part of being bilingual in a language nobody in either of our families know  ).
Anime Character: Oy...I actually don't watch much anime. Going only from animes I've watched, Myung from Macross Plus.
Historical Figure: Jeanne d'Arc. You figure it out (shouldn't be hard).
SD.Net Board Member: I'd have to go with Zaia, since she's the female member I know best.

The top overall is my friend Amy. We're good friends, but since I'm almost two hours away and neither of us have cars, I'm not about to try to start a relationship. It wouldn't be fair to either of us, particularly since she's planning on going even further away for college, and I'll likely have to go out of state for graduate school in two years.
