Which Star Wars mod/game do you like the most?

So, this can be any game, RTS or otherwise for any game. It san be a mod for an existing SW game (say, Imperial Assault for Empire At War) or it can be an entirely new mod for a non-SW game, like Warlords for Homeworld 2.

Warlords, although I'm pissed off that the latest version has cut out all my favourite ships while adding all the crap designs from EaW. The new weapon effects however are much nicer.

Heh...thank you all. Damn, I have to get EAW to work soon....I was only able to play it a few times at my school weeks ago.

Yeah, I'm getting Warords soon anyway, this reminded me/inspired me o make this thread.

I'm going to have to go with LEGO. EaW blows, Rebellion is old and has too many broken mechanics, X-wing is too old... oh wait, TIE Fighter is awesome. I can't decide?

The SSD is a flying shielded brick now. Worthless.

I'm not sure what's up with the Warlords mod. Last i touched it a couple mths back, it was still not quite complete. Lots of stuff missing. Dunno what's going on with it.

I've both seen some of EJ's 'rationale' for changes and corresponded with him personally, and he seems to be quite mad. Warlords is a good idea, and it's got some good models, but the bad decisions just keep coming. It used to just be stupid weapon loadouts (lol WEG lol) and way too many indistingushable EU ship designs that were largely worthless - I'd say I can't believe they removed heaps of the designs and replaced them with fucking EaW bullshit, but I honestly CAN believe it.

What rationale did he give? I haven't stepped into the TF.N Fleet Junkie thread for an age.

It's the Warlords mod actually.

They nerfed the ship. Was trying the skirmish when I realised that the ship wasn't.. shooting a lot.

As for EaW, the Executor wasn't meant to do much actually. In fact, it's quite vulnerable to swarms of fighters.

No, he's a hypocrite who uses stats he knows are worthless - and ruin the game, by virtue of both nonsensical loadouts (lol ISD-I guns suck) and having asspiles of guns that rape the engine - while ignoring more accurate, more appropriate ones. If you think it makes sense that a corvette sized ship has a gun more powerful than any on an ISD-I, you're welcome to Warlords and all of it's stupidity.

Did they completely miss the term SUPER in Super Star Destroyer? Did they assume when Lucasfilm titled it that they really meant it was Clark Kent's personal Star Destroyer? How can these people claim to be fans of Star Wars and then shit all over the source matieral the way they do?

Oh I also liked how original EaW threw out the Venator class mid development and replaced it with the pussy Victory class. Even though it should have been the complete other way around. Nope, the EU just had to wank wank wank all over itself.

Due to stupid decisions in WL, the Executor can often only engage with a tiny fraction of it's (WEG) shockingly low armament due to RANGE. Yes that's right, the range on the guns is perhaps twice the length of the ship. AWESOME.

Sigh.. he ruined it.. I won't bother to download the mod anymore. In any case, his rate of update is like once every half year. Ridiculous WEG whores the whole lot of them. More reasons why I shouldn't go back to TF.N.

Does anyone who still plays Rebellion remember the cheesy shit you could do? I seem to remember manipulating the unkillable characters somehow and being able to render myself invincible and quickly bottle up the badguys in one planet. Am I insane?
