I've heard complaints that there a weapons lockers everywhere in Nemesis. IIRC there is one in the galley in STVI, Comments?

I don't think there were more weapons lockers in ST:10 than there were in Voyager. There are more in both those shows than in Deep Space Nine and the Next Generation shows, but there was also more phaser fights (I thought) in Voyager, so it was okay.

This bothered me too. In ST6 there was a small one in the galley so that Whatshername could demonstrate that a phaser set to vaporize would set off security alarms.
(But not a phaser set to stun. Heh heh, think of the fun you can have on April Fool's Day.)
Anyway, in Nemesis, they seemed to be set up in lockers in the corridors.
I thought armory in First Contact made more sense.

It'd be a good idea on a warship, but certainly not on the Enterprise-E.

Yeah, some of the kids on the ship might find one. "L-look Mah-Mr. Prercrard! I-I found a f-f-phaser!!!!"jaeger115 wrote:It'd be a good idea on a warship, but certainly not on the Enterprise-E.

Agreed. Also note that Riker and Deanna were being transferred to another ship, conveniently right when they were getting married. It may be that they have eliminated FAMILIES on the E-E, which may also help to increase combat-efficiency.TheDarkling wrote:Seeing he upgrades that the Ent-E has undergone its getting close to being a warship that doubles for peace time duties instead of the other way around.
I also don't think the kids are about anymore.

Something like that.Admiral Valdemar wrote:But isn't the E-E classified as a battlecruiser unofficially?jaeger115 wrote:It'd be a good idea on a warship, but certainly not on the Enterprise-E.

I'm pretty sure real comabt ships have armouries, and weapons are issued depending on the situation. Having weapons lockers everywhere is too much of a security hazard.CNS Sarajevo wrote:This bothered me too.
