Ok... um, so I download that Wings 3D thing from the resources sticky, and I make this cool model... I tried messing around with it for quite a while but I could not figure out how to get a picture out of it that I could turn to a .jpg or .gif and upload, hence the thread's title.

Press Print Screen, then paste into your favorite gfx program. Photoshop of course... right?

Wings is a dedicated modeler. It can't render pictures directly. For rough views you can just take screencaps but if you want the real thing with shadows, textures and control over the lights, you'll need to export your Wings model and render it using some other tool.

Yeah, I know, I'm not too worried about that stuff yet, I just wanna show my (probably crappy) model!
