ROFL. BTW, the local newspaper reported that Sam's speech about continuing on even when it appears as if evil has won was added specifically because of 9/11. Don't know if it's true (the paper's called the Slantinel for a reason), but if so, it shows that Peter Jackson pays attention to the world and knows how to react to it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Blitz just means lightning. The Blitzenkrieg was the lightning war, the German style of offense throughout the entire Second World War. The first British civilian deaths were during the "Sitzkrieg," as it was farcically known, or the "Phony war." Just the word Blitz is a common German word, like the word safety (also used in American football). I realize you were joking
