The sexiest part about KOS MOS is her heels. She does battle in sexy heels and it's awesome. Not that I've ever seen the Xenosaga show or played the games, but I know awesome when I see it.
Xenosaga itself has largely been a mixed bag. All of the characters with the exception of Shion were excellent. And even at her worst, Shion was never a terrible character. Problem with the series is the story is so pretentious and detailed is virtually impossible for any casual fans to pick it up. Even standard jRPG players have trouble with the game. (Although they have trouble playing anything that doesn't say "Final Fantasy" on the title.) And old Xenogears fans shun the games like crazy. Going as far as to pretend they don't even exist.

On the bright side, KOS MOS is a very popular character even with people who haven't played the games. She's arguably one of Namco's most known characters now. And I gauruntee you only about 1/3 of the fans actually know anything about Xenosaga.

But hey, EGM rumored recenetly that KOS MOS may get her own action spin off game. If she does, you can bet i'll be first in line for it.

For some reason, I always found the A.I.s/"Silicates" from Space: Above and Beyond to be entertaining.
Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."

In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!

If all you want to do is have some harmless, mindless fun, go H3RE INST3ADZ0RZ!!
Grrr! Fight my Brute, you pansy!

I can't believe nobody's mentioned the Tachikoma (from GITS: SAC) yet...the only robots I've ever seen use a grammatical paradox on another AI.

Xenogears is such a shitty game. Nothing but random battles and lame jumping puzzles... with random battles. I had more fun with the arcade fighting sequence from midway through the game.

Well it's nice to have a sexy android chick who is actually sexy and not whorish or a loli. Haha.

I hope it's awesome like God Hand or something. I wanna whip out some giant triple gatling guns and kill every goddamn thing in the room.

Eh, so you know, Xenosaga is also a fairly typical jRPG. I've never actually played Xenogears though. So I can't compare them, except people have complaiend the characterization and storytelling were not as good as Xenosaga. IE: The game fell apart at the second disk. While XS Episode 2 did drop the ball quite badly as well, Episode 3 more than made up for it.

With KOS MOS? Sure. Another problem is the typical Xeno fans themselves. A number of the fans disliked the rumor of such a game out of the fear of a Dirge of Cerberus style failure. That, and it centers on KOS MOS alone. Most Xeno fans feel the strongest aspect of the series was the entire character line up. I liked Xeno's characters too, but they are generally ignorant if they think the main draw to the series isn't KOS MOS. I mean come on, she's a Terminator with boobs. She's T-X done right.

Ghetto ed: I realized this may be too obscure. Source is Dark side of the Sun, (T Pratchett.)

Ways is a class 5 (i.e. fully sentient, considered to be 'Human') robot assassin, designed to be lucky

Will supply more data if anyone cares enough to ask for it =)
Ways Luck function was totally awesome. But I prefer Isaac. Simply for the 'sitting duck' scene with the army of class 3 robots.
True. I just re-read the book, and that scene made me laugh out loud, again. The book is not wone of TP:s best by far, but the good parts are awsome =)

It ends up being about KOS-MOS at the end, but each game (to me) focuses on a different character. Der Wille Zur Macht focuses a good bit of the plot on MOMO (although everyone gets a fair amount since it has to introduce everyone), Jenseits Von Gut Und Bose focuses on Rubedo, and Also Sprach Zarathustra is about KOS-MOS, with the first and third also having a fair bit of plot revolving around Shion. I almost wonder if the original longer series would have had each game focus on a single character - Ziggy, Jin, and chaos never really got much attention within the main plotline.

It's also about the relationships between characters, both playable and non - MOMO and Ziggy in game 1, Shion/KOS-MOS/Kevin in game 1, Rubedo/Albedo/Nigredo in game 2, chaos/Wilhelm throughout the series (especially from 2 on), Ziggy/Blue Testament in 2 and 3, Shion/Red Testament in 3, KOS-MOS/T-ELOS in 3, MOMO/Jr throughout...

And I've got to add in Ringo's Rabbit from There Will Be Dragons and its sequels. It's based off a certain rabbit from an "unnamed" 20th century webcomic...

The Culture Drone would deduce the dangerous effect of Marvin's speech after listening to three words, it would cut off all communication to Marvin, then it would re-package Marvin as an AI killing weapon to be used against less advanced cultures.
The flaw with that strategy is that Marvin still manages to get off three whole words before your drone realises its in danger. I'm not betting on the drone.

The robot from the manga/anime Cromartie High School is damn amusing (Mechazawa or similar, and its little bro' Mechalatta). It looks like a bin on legs with bulging eyes and believes its human, and isn't good with machines. Plus its little brother is so small it keeps getting mistaken for cans and cut open, etc. Although thats actually all pretty "normal" by Cromartie standards.
