wmp issues

Post by Schuyler Colfax »

i don't know how fucked up my computer is if ithas a virus or not but, lately I have been having issues with windows media player. Currently I have the 10th version. Okay so after I downloaded the music (legally) *cough* *cough*. I try to get my music from wmp to my mp3. But I could hardly get them both to work at the same time. My wmp window freezes when I plug in my mp3 player or my mp3 just says don't disconnect and stays that way up until I get bored and plug it out. But everytime I get the songs to sync on my mp3 (through some miracle). The second it finishes syncing it starts removing foiles from my mp3. It really sucks yeasterday I put on 11 new songs but then I ended up losing 25. So I guess the question I'm asking is did any of you have did problem and if you did what did you do to solve it.
:banghead:
P.S. I've tried using other media players my music files don't even come up on them.

Try using the actual file transfer software that comes with your .mp3 player. WMP is shit.

What's your MP3 player?
I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

Foobar2000 is what happens when you get software hackers to design a user interface. Blegh.

Better then WinAmps idea of a userinterface. If I want a kickass design, WMP10 is fine.

I have an iriver that occasionally gives me problems...

I don't know if WinAmp could actually sync with it though. Like the OP, my player came with a CD that loaded WMP 10, and that's all it did.

If WMP is deleting your tracks, maybe you'd want to see what the hell is going on with your PC before you install more software.

All I ask is a tall tray icon and a hotkey to control it with...

Who spends time looking at the GUI of a media player, anyway? [/i]
