I think Paul does a decent job as Queen's new lead singer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YINK6iIjA_Y

I give it a "meh", doesn't have the same magic as Freddie Mercury had. The Queen tribute band Mrs K and I saw: It's A Kind of Magic was better.
M1891/30: A bad day on the range is better then a good day at work.

Sorry i could only watch that for a moment. Queen without Freddie is just Karaoke.

The only singer I know that could come close to Freddie's vocal range is George Michael, and IIRC after the tribute concert there had been some talk to Michael joining Queen.

I actually think Mika might have a semi Mercury like voice, certainly some of his album stuff suggests so.

All I can think of is the song "Wake me up before you Go Go" and this is making me laugh

*after listening to his website* I guess his voice kinda sounds similiar. It's just weird for me to think of him joining Queen.

*havin' fun listening to his 80's music on his website*

You should try and get George Michael's performance at Freddie tribute concert. He sang Dont Let The Sun Go Down On Me in a duet with Elton John and then on his own he sang Somebody To Love. He sang it so perfect it gave me the chills. Shame George Michael wasted all his tallent and got too political and wasted.
