We Grew up with the Romantisizing and Worship of Criminals, part of the appeal of the Han Solo character is that he is a "Likeable Villian".

So calling out all the Fans of Robin Hood, Rob Roy, Ned Kelly, Jesse James, William Bonney, & others of their ilk.

Those two were actually quite interesting, Very Professional in their robberies (They made a point of not hurting civilians), had fresh horses set up at regular intervals, organized escape routes.

Disney's Robin Hood is awesome.
And you may ask yourself, 'Where does that highway go to?'

Song Jiang, from Water Margin(ShuiHuJuan). Of course, it had to be said he was forced into it...

Later struck a deal with the government in order to restore peace in the land, was betrayed, but stuck to his vow of loyalty. Drank down poisoned royal wine when ordered to even though he knew he would die.

Loyalty or stupidity? A bit of both, but truly a tragic ending.

My choice? Hard decision. Robin Hood is the only one that immediately springs to mind.

Errol Flynn's Robin Hood.

(Robin Hood is a fictional character, BTW)

Black Jack was pretty good too.

A surgeon "with the hands of god" who can perform operations most other doctors in the world can't. He practices without a license, commanding astronomical fees for his work, which the patients and sometimes hospitals gladly pay.

If you haven't seen it, it's an anime but its a great movie even if you aren't big into animation.
