Heh, the I-Arm. The guy who designed it, Frank Kleemann, is a drinking buddy of mine.

Just a special effects thing, according to the "Making of".

This is about as far as we've gotten in real-life - not quite as advanced, but still very impressive. Just give it a few years more.
