Favorite Music Videos

Post by SAMAS »

List your favorites, in no particular order.

"Dangerous" by Busta Rhymes -- Busta Rhymes does his own take on Lethal Weapon, playing the roles of Riggs, Mr, Joshua, and... Sho'Nuff??

"I Love You" by Ashanti -- You see this woman in that black kimono, and you'll see my point.

"Gravel Pit" by the Wu-Tang Clan -- Starts off like a parody of your standard Gangata video, only set in Bedrock. Then it turns into an awesome kung-fu sequence.

"Three Little Pigs" by Green Jelly -- I saw this video only once, and I couldn't stop laughing.

"Work It" by Missy Elliot -- This is one of the silliest videos I've seen in a long time. Especially the part with the slave slapping the white off his master(or did he slap some black onto him?), and the poor guy's reaction.

"Daytona 500" by Ghostface Killah -- Not really my favorite, but notable in that it's one of the only official AMV's I've ever seen. In this case, Speed Racer.

The Evangelion videos are wicked as hell. Especially since I've never seen the actual shit.

I just downloaded the You could be mine video. I remember when that one came out.

"On Your Mark" by Chage and Aska
I am capable of rearranging the fundamental building blocks of the universe in under six seconds. I shelve physics texts under "Fiction" in my personal library! I am grasping the reigns of the universe's carriage, and every morning get up and shout "Giddy up, boy!" You may never grasp the complexities of what I do, but at least have the courtesy to feign something other than slack-jawed oblivion in my presence. I, sir, am a wizard, and I break more natural laws before breakfast than of which you are even aware!

"Baby Got Back" by Sir Mixalot.

I don't like rap and am not into hip-hop that much but this video is hilarious and there are some fine "backs" in this video.

The Lenny Kravitz version of American Woman has a pretty good video too.
By the pricking of my thumb,
Something wicked this way comes.
Open, locks,
Whoever knocks.
