Seperatist Vs Federation

The seps are lead by Tyrannus , General Grievous , Durge , and Ventress . The Federation has Picard , Sisco , Worf , and Data as their military leaders. No holds barred and yes Grievous may use the brain plauge.

That's imps vs feds not seps vs feds (they are significantly diffrent) although grievous is far more competent than any officer in the entire star fleet.

Entry under the Banking Clan Frigate. A ship of a modest 825 meter length. Hell, we don't even have to go here. ICS for Ep 2 has a troop transport with enough firepower to lay waste to the Federation from oribt.

You are a fucking dumbass, aren't you? You do realise that a single Imperator I-class Star Destroyer has more than enough firepower, range, and shielding to take on every ship the Federation has? Do you realise by how much the Lucrehulks after their second refit outmass and gun an ISD? There's not much of a difference actually

Lord Sturm, in what way do you feel that the Seperatists are a more even match for the Federation? Do you believe they have much lower numbers, or much slower FTL, or significantly weaker weapons?

How much do you actually know about the Seperatists?

Well I like I said ages ago, even a CW era glorified troop transport (the Acclamator class) has more then enough firepower to deal with any federation ship and the separtists have ship with both greater fire power and heavier shields (and a rather sizeble fleet of them also), this ain't a contest it's a massacre (of the federation side).

Yup, that's why they were able to fight the largest galactic conflict in GFFA history for upwards of several years. Only being defeated after Sidious set them up.

They throw weaker ships... where? Weaker in what sense? How will the Federation exploit such weaknesses? How weak can they be when they hold approximate parity with Republic vessels?

Battle droids are laughable how? How easily can they be destroyed by phasers? How will redshirts fare against literally millions of battle droids per Federation world, colony and station? What effect will shielded, heavy or tank-like droids have on the ground equipment-strapped Federation?

140 IQ, my ass. There is no significant difference in technology and industry between the Empire and the Separatists; the difference only exists in ideology. Since the Separatists have technological parity with the Empire, we can clearly expect them to curbstomp the Federation as badly (if not worse) than the Empire would.

While separtist ships are somewhat weaker (due to being converted freighters and/or Q-ships) then the purpose build imperial warships, that difference isn't no where large enough to be of any signifigance for this debate (the CIS did not only endure the whole 3 years of the Clone Wars, but also were winning it at one point).

And as the battle droids being weak, apart from one insident (R2 in ROTS) battledroids of any model haven't been taken down by anything that the federation has (or weapons compareble to those).

To be fair, astromech droids aren't usually as smart or as clever as R2. They are also really common all over the galaxy. They probably just assumed it was a maintenance droid or something screwing around with stuff.

What the fuck does it matter? Even asumming the Seperatists are somehow braindead idiots, they still have firepower, speed, logistics capability several orders of magnitude better then any fed.

I'd definatley say even Battle Droids are superior to redshirts and add in a few Destroyer Droids and Super Battle droids and the feds are fuked, if only by sheer weight of numbers. Also the Invisible Hand has more firepower than the entire Alpha Quadant powers combined.

True. No one disputes that. But you have to show how these weaker ships than the Imperials are somehow many orders of magnitude weaker in such a way as to be laughably vulnerable to Federation weaponry. You've got to give more than "they're weaker than the imps, so they must be an equal match for the Federation". It's like saying that since a 1960's era US armed force is not as advanced as today's armed force, said force might be defeated by the Roman Empire.

Standard battledroids? Maybe. They are extremely flimsy. But they also have numbers the Federation cannot match. I also wouldn't exactly put my faith in the standard redshirt. Once you start using shielded destroyer droids, super battledroids, and Zeus forbid an actual ground army with mechanized units (which the Federation completely lacks), the flimsy nature of standard battledroids becomes a moot point.

What does this have to do with anything? Didn't your OP say "No holds barred?" And why would giving the Seperatists one extra droid amongst the quintrillions they already have make any difference in the conflict?

We're talking several orders of magnitude of power difference, a fleet that has Teraton level guns versus a fleet that can barely get into double digit Megaton. This contest is worse then a coalition of all of Earth's modern forces versus Stone Age man.
