Heroes Chapter 22 "Landslide"
So Linderman, DL, and Ted are dead and Just about everyone is in New York.
Anyone else surprised the Candice apparently doesn't really look like what she normally looks like?

They kind of gave away the fact that DL would live when they showed him in the trailer afterwards with Micah and Nikki. Also, Linderman has HEALING powers, so i would doubt his death until it's confirmed. But fear not, Ted's a goner though.
I find it ominous that both Peter and Sylar have radiation powers now...one guy running around with organic nuclear reactors for hands was bad enough but two...this kind of puts it all up in the air. It could be either one from this point, who goes boom.

The future indicated it was in fact Peter. I was surprised actually, since there has been little to no apparent divergence in the timeline since that episode (which stands to reason I suppose, since Hiro and Ando are really the ones capable of changing it).

From Candice's comments, I would say that she is possibly an overweight nerdy geek who has major acceptance issues.
And she may be a he.
And she may be a he.
Nitram, slightly high on cough syrup: Do you know you're beautiful?
Me: Nope, that's why I have you around to tell me.
Nitram: You -are- beautiful. Anyone tries to tell you otherwise kill them.

I paused on the trailer, Matt clearly gets shot. Mohinder was standing over Matt while Matt was sitting on the floor with his hands on his stomach and his shirt all bloody.18-Till-I-Die wrote:They kind of gave away the fact that DL would live when they showed him in the trailer afterwards with Micah and Nikki. I didn't see Mr. Bennett anywhere in the trailer...
What, are you serious? The first thing I thought when I saw Ted was, "Either Ted blows up New York, Peter copies him and blows up New York, or Sylar kills him and blows up."I find it ominous that both Peter and Sylar have radiation powers now...one guy running around with organic nuclear reactors for hands was bad enough but two...this kind of puts it all up in the air. You just realized that it would come down to the two of them?

Anyone else find it interesting that Hiro's father used the same line as Linderman, the thing about having formerly worked with other people with powers and that they lost their way and he still tries to fight the good fight?
Also, it's possible that Peter's powers of prophetic dreams comes from his Father and not his Mother. Of course that still leaves the door open for what power that the Mother has, what power that Hiro's father has, and what power if any that Hiro's sister has. It should be highly likely that the sister has powers since we've seen powers pass down family lines once a parent has powers (Hiro and his dad, the Petrelli's, Nikki, DL and Micah).

Was that the season finale or is there more next week? I hope not cause there is still plenty of loose ends to wrap up.
I don't know how Hiro learned to use his sword in a few hours though. I was expecting his father pulling a time stop or something.
I also notice both Hiro's dad and Linderman (Nathan's dad from Linderman) using that line that they were all good in the pass but the others lost their ways. Who do you think is the others?

I think they're referring to each other. Hiro's dad seems to be setting him up to take down Sylar and stop the explosion, which is directly opposed to Linderman's plan.Specialist wrote: I also notice both Hiro's dad and Linderman (Nathan's dad from Linderman) using that line that they were all good in the pass but the others lost their ways. I hope we can see what Candace looks like. In the Future, Sylar had killed her and was using her powers.
My roommate thinks that Hiro is going to have to let Sylar kill Ando as a distraction so he can kill him. It would be "cutting out his own heart" as it were.

I think it may go the other way and Hiro sacrifices himself to save Ando; which would be closer to the Kensei and the Dragon story.CaptainChewbacca wrote:I hope we can see what Candace looks like. In the Future, Sylar had killed her and was using her powers.

A very deliberate choice. In the online comic series "War Buddies," where Mr. Petrelli meets Linderman, the idea of "losing one's way" was mentioned several times. Linderman and Nakamura both thought their own plans were for the best for humanity.avatarxprime wrote:Anyone else find it interesting that Hiro's father used the same line as Linderman, the thing about having formerly worked with other people with powers and that they lost their way and he still tries to fight the good fight?
Not really sure why Linderman wanted to get rid of D.L. Maybe he still thought he needed Micah to ensure those "fluke circumstances" would occur to let Nathan be President. (Though, clearly, Micah wasn't required, based on "Five Years Gone.")

Yep. Shot does not necessarily mean dead.18-Till-I-Die wrote:They kind of gave away the fact that DL would live when they showed him in the trailer afterwards with Micah and Nikki.
You need your brain to use your powers. Linderman's toast (probably because Malcolm McDowell didn't sign for a long commitment).18-Till-I-Die wrote:Also, Linderman has HEALING powers, so i would doubt his death until it's confirmed.

Linderman's just working to make sure everything happens according to his series of paintings, which means Micah being caught in the explosion.Mad wrote:Not really sure why Linderman wanted to get rid of D.L. They all survived to "Five Years Gone." (Molly was at least thought to be alive.) The course of events to that future can only be changed by Hiro or Ando, and neither has had any contact with them since returning. If any are shot, then they are still on track to survive, at least. Does Sylar know what power Peter have? Sylar has seen him use tk, healing and invisibility but have he realised that Peter copies powers?

He thinks Peter is like him, stealing powers for his own use.

Not necessarily. Hiro said, "I only ask for the ones I brought to you...D.L., Molly Walker"Mad wrote:They all survived to "Five Years Gone." (Molly was at least thought to be alive.) D.L. was clearly dead by that time. Some of the other people he listed were alive. Molly could be either.

That's why I said "Molly was at least thought to be alive." In order for Hiro to bring her to Bennet, she'd have to survive beyond the explosion. Bennet didn't know D.L. was dead, nor would he know if Molly had been killed after that.Praxis wrote:Not necessarily.
