What part of "Thou shalt not bear false witness" and "Thou shalt love thy neighbor" don't you understand?
I'm not sure, but I think Jesus basically said the Mosaic Code does not apply; of course, these people still forgot "Thou shalt do unto others as you would have them do unto you" from his gospels.

Th'LAWD (Matthew 22:36-40) wrote:"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied, " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

Bah, Faith is irrelevant and the spirit of things, religion and opinionated Dogma is all that matters. Now get back to listening to the Latin bible being preached (Damn, uppity peasant).

I'm quite positive lying and hating someone is still a sin, and Jesus also said love your enemies.

They're not, anyone can cite passages from the Bible, Hell I can do it, especially since it reaffirms my negative view of the greatest con in the history of mankind.

Well, he also said that:
Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

How's this? When are you due for your next conversion and which denomination will it be this time? Morman, Protestant, Lutheran, Evangelical, or will you just join Westborough Baptist Church and save us the work pointing out the obvious to you?

After Einhander Sn0m4n finished. :D

And no, that wasn't sarcasm. It was stupidity, to manage to jump from "cites Jesus to show why hypocritical fundie idiots are being hypocritical and idiotic" to "thinks 'Slaves, Obey Your Masters' Jesus was a great guy."

I think it was Paul who said that one.

Yes, but not their God.
Well, it could be their God.
The Old Testament God is equally apt at punishing failure as anything else.
In fact, most of his time is spent raining destruction upon his own followers. In other words, this guy failed to frame the evil atheist and had to be punished!

I think it was in Luke, too, but the author of Luke was supposed to have known Paul, or something like that. Jesus certainly didn't say anything against it to my knowledge, and it's not like he wouldn't have known about it since both the OT and imperial roman life have widepsread understanding of slavery.
